Mala Pražarna: a Roaster for Coffee and Cat Lovers

The story of Mala Pražarna is pretty inspiring — its founder couldn’t find a job in Ljubljana that would make him happy, and that is why he started his own business. As we can see, it turned out to be successful. Mala Pražarna was founded back in 2018, and it is still here, offering freshly roasted coffee.

The name of this place speaks for itself (the word “mala” means “small” in Slovenian). It is a micro-roaster, so the selection of coffee is not that wide. There are only a couple of options available on the website, along with some coffee accessories. However, this does not affect quality and freshness. You can try coffee right at Mala Pražarna — this is a combination of a roastery and a tiny coffee shop, so they offer coffee to go. Besides, you can sometimes meet them at coffee festivals. Monitor their social media to stay on top of the news.

Cat lovers will especially enjoy this place. The logo design was inspired by a cat, and this image is everywhere: on the coffee packaging and cups, above and on the front door, and so on. You may also appreciate the fact that Mala Pražarna is an environmentally responsible roaster and coffee shop. They provide a small urban farm with used coffee grounds, which are then leveraged as a fertilizer.
