Together with Lev, the Specialty Kava team visited Impact Hub Ljubljana for a morning team building session.

Many people love to drink coffee, but do many of them know a little more about this beverage?

It is always a pleasure to spend time with like-minded coffee-heads. Even more so when there is an opportunity to share and taste new coffees, brewing methods and recipes. And on Monday 19th of February 2024, we did just that.

We gathered in Impact Hub Ljubljana with co-workers of the place to learn something new about our favorite drink and try three completely different and yet delicious coffees from Brazil, Rwanda and Colombia, roasted in Kamnik and Lisbon.

During one and a half hour we brewed three coffees using a classic V60 recipe, and discovered how to taste coffee and what to pay attention to when choosing a pack of beans to purchase.

Coffee is a product that can be enjoyed while being alone, no doubt about it. And yet it is also a pleasant experience to drink some rare Specialty coffee in a group of work peers and colleagues, discuss its flavor, what it reminds you of and what recipe and method would help it shine even brighter.

I believe it is fair to say that everyone had a great time, enjoyed coffee, and learnt something new about themselves and such a complex and delightful product as coffee.
