Description
Experience the elegance of Laurina coffee, a rare and highly appreciated variety grown with great dedication by Felipe Arcila on his Jardines del Edén farm. This unique Arabica variety, known for its extremely low caffeine content (only 0.5%), is genetically related to the Bourbon variety. Its short stature and conical shape, similar to a Christmas tree, make it stand out from the crowd and even more so when it comes to taste. The Laurel grows at an altitude of 1750 meters, under ideal conditions with an annual rainfall of between 1900 and 2200 mm. After harvesting, the fruit undergoes a 24-hour dry aerobic fermentation and is then stored for 50 hours in Grainpro bags at a temperature below 22 °C. They are dried on raised beds for approximately 190 hours until they reach the desired humidity of 11%, which allows the aromas to develop to their peak. In the cup, Laurina delights with subtle and delicate notes of lavender, lemongrass, vanilla and fresh limes.
